Young B. Choi is President and Editor-in-Chief of the K-GSP Forum and a Professor in the Department of Engineering & Computer Science at Regent University.

He earned a B.S. in Computer Science and Statistics from Chonnam National University and an M.S. in Computer Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). At the University of Missouri–Kansas City he earned an M.S. in Computer Networking and an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Computer Networking and Telecommunications Networking.
Dr. Choi has published 38 books. They include Selected Readings in Cybersecurity (2018), held by more than 800 university and college libraries worldwide, and Cybersecurity Applications and Artificial Intelligence (2023), available in seven major world languages. In 1995, with Dr. Adrian Tang, he proposed the world’s first global and universal telecommunications “Service Order Handling (SOH)” Model. The work earned the IEEE NOMS ‘96 Best Paper Award, and in 1998 he became the first recipient of the TeleManagement Forum’s Outstanding Contribution Award.
